INFORMATION MEETING ON BEING A LOCAL VENDOR WITH S.B. COUNTY: OPPORTUNITY FOR HIGH DESERT BUSINESSES

By: Simone Graham – Editor – HDG: County Supervisor Robert Lovingood wants to support local businesses in the High Desert. He is holding a special Vendor Outreach Event on January 25, 2018 to explain how to connect your business with the San Bernardino County offices. Representatives from more than 20 County departments will be on hand to discuss a wide variety of goods and services purchased by the County. Local companies can learn how to become approved County vendors and search bid opportunities.

“We are hoping to maximize the number of local companies doing business with the County,” Lovingood said. “When we keep local dollars local, it helps businesses grow and that’s good for everyone.”

The Vendor Outreach Event is planned 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, January 25th at the Hilton Garden Inn, 12603 Mariposa Road in Victorville. Businesses are asked to respond by January 17th. For more information, contact Monique Hernandez at 909 387-2077
