Free Biomimicry Workshop for Teachers/Register by Oct. 10 for Oct. 16th

Learn how to engage students on nature-inspired thinking and design in your classroom. The two hour workshop will provide teachers with an introduction to biomimicry and approaches for incorporating the concept into standards-aligned science education. This includes a hands-on lesson plan with physical models. Participants will each receive a copy of the lesson and specific biomimicry ideas for their students. The workshop is geared towards 5th – 8th grade classrooms, although the concepts can be adapted for any K-8 level. All are welcome to participate!

This workshop will be co-taught by leading Biomimicry experts & educators from the Biomimicry Institute and BiomimicryLA.

WHEN: Tuesday, October 16th, 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
