Assemblyman Obernolte Small Business Assembly Legislator of the Year

Sacramento: Assemblyman Jay Obernolte (R-Hesperia) announced that he was named the 2018 Small Business Assembly Legislator of the Year by the California Small Business Association (CSBA).

“I am honored and extremely humbled to receive this award,” said Assemblyman Obernolte. “As an entrepreneur and small business owner, I appreciate the economic impact and key role that small businesses play in our communities. I will continue to fight for a healthy business climate in California to ensure that small businesses can continue to thrive in our state.”

The California Small Business Association is a volunteer-driven, nonprofit, non-partisan organization that makes its mission to provide small business with a meaningful voice in state and federal governments. CSBA was founded as an outgrowth of the 1980 White House Conference on Small Business. They conduct issue research and develop policy, provide strong advocacy on small business issues, and hold small business advisory councils in legislative districts.

Assemblyman Jay Obernolte represents the 33rd Assembly District, which includes the San Bernardino County communities of Adelanto, Apple Valley, Baker, Barstow, Big Bear City, Big Bear Lake, Big River, Crestline, Fort Irwin, Hesperia, Johnson Valley, Lake Arrowhead, Lenwood, Lucerne Valley, Needles, Oak Hills, Phelan, Running Springs, Silver Lakes, Trona, Twentynine Palms Base, Twin Peaks and Victorville.
