AV Town Clerk’s Office Offers Extended Hours For Passport Processing

The Clerk’s office is highly rated for it’s service and has processed thousands of passports in the last 15 years. Read on for details on days and hours of operation, cost, and phone contact to make your appointment.

Apple Valley: The Town of Apple Valley will offer extended hours for passport processing on Jan. 17. Normal processing hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to noon. Staff is available by appointment during normal business hours on Monday and Thursday, with late appointments available until 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month.

Since 2003, the Town Clerk’s Office has processed more than 17,000 passports and is rated as excellent by the Department of State for its outstanding service as a Passport Acceptance Facility.

Standard passports for adults are $110. Passports for children age 15 and under are $80. Wallet-sized U.S. Passport Cards valid for land and sea crossings between the U.S. and Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean are $30 for adults and $15 for children 15 or younger. A separate processing fee of $35 must be paid separately for each passport processed.
